2019 Habitat for Humanity's Project Playhouse Blitz Build

Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity's Project Playhouse Blitz Build is a program designed to teach young children the pride and joy of homeownership.

Volunteers work for 5-6 hours to build a playhouse customized for a family based on their hobbies and interests. Young children and their families are then presented with the playhouse at the conclusion of the Blitz Build.

When the OCP Toledo team learned of this family's love of gardening together, it was obvious what the theme of the playhouse should be. Based on the smiles of the children's faces, it's safe to say the playhouse was a success that will bring pride, joy, and happiness to the family for years to come.
