In alignment with OCP’s value of no compromise on safety, team member Alex Kaszer, CHST GSP, has developed a Cleanest Jobsite Award for outstanding work within the Columbus area.
This month’s award goes to Mark Duncan and his team at the Franklin County Correctional Center project. In an area where ceiling tiles were to be installed, everyone helped out and moved trash and other materials out of the way in order to clear the way for the project.
Although it seems simplistic, cleanliness can make a world of difference in the safety and productivity of everyone on a job. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in recent years, there are more than 800 injuries annually involving floors, walkways, and ground surfaces.
Thank you Alex for proactively looking out for the OCP team, and join me in congratulating Mark and his team for being an excellent example of following OSHA Construction Standard 1926.252(c)
