In alignment with OCP’s value of no compromise on safety, OCP has developed a Cleanest Jobsite Award for outstanding work.

This month’s award goes to laborers, Mike Shaffer, Jacob Bowser and the build team at Waverly and Oak. A seven story, new construction apartment building on the shores of Lake Erie (in the winter).

Although it seems simplistic, cleanliness can make a world of difference in the safety and productivity of everyone on a job. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in recent years, there are more than 800 injuries annually involving floors, walkways, and ground surfaces.
