OCP’s Employees of Choice are individuals who exemplify the qualities and characteristics that have made our 50 years of success possible. Employees of Choice are employees in the field and office who lead by action to advance safety, productivity, and innovation on projects. Additionally, these employees are consistent, dependable, and contribute to the betterment of the team. Thanks to the hard work of these individuals, OCP has proudly become the interior Contractor of Choice.

Keith Holobaugh

  • Position: Carpenter
  • Length of Employment with OCP: 10 Years
  • Industry Tenure: 35 Years

"Keith Holobaugh is a well-rounded carpenter out of Columbus office. Keith shows up every day on time, and ready to work. He has done an exceptional job helping finish up the AC Marriott project. Thank You for all of your hard work!" - Vince Stiles, Superintendent

  • What brought you to the construction industry and what made you stay?
  • The financial compensation and pension.
  • What hobbies do you have outside of work?
  • I enjoy fishing and hunting.
  • What advice would you give a new employee?
  • Work hard and show up for work on time every day.

Travis McKinney

  • Position: Carpenter
  • Length of Employment with OCP: 1 Year
  • Industry Tenure: 2 Years

"Travis started with us during the ramp-up of COVID-19 during the spring. During this time, he has stepped up as a newer employee and apprentice by navigating this ever-changing time, all while putting in a good day's work. Travis has been working downtown on our Hilton Hotel remodel project here in Toledo but has also helped on the Habitat houses, we built last summer. He has come a long way in a short amount of time. It's nice to have him on our team and look forward to seeing him grow as a carpenter here at OCP. Thanks, Travis!" - Chris Gunderman General Superintendent

  • What brought you to the construction industry and what made you stay?
  • I went to school for construction and planned to go into the field.
  • What is your favorite project you have worked on?
  • The Hilton Hotel project has been fun, the environment and the people make it worth it.
  • What hobbies do you have outside of work?
  • Farming, I live on a farm.

Dave Gordon

  • Position: Carpenter
  • Length of Employment with OCP: 16 Years
  • Industry Tenure: 24 Years

"Dave started with OCP in the spring of 2005. Dave is a very conscientious person and takes his work seriously. Dave does an excellent job hanging drywall and doubles production easily. The tapers that follow him say his work is clean with all screws set properly and tight seams. Dave shows up to work every day early and has a great attitude. I would like to have Dave on every job that I run." - Damian Bourdess, Foreman for the Carvana Project

  • What brought you to the construction industry and what made you stay?
  • It's a great way to make money and my dad, also a construction worker encouraged me.
  • What hobbies do you have outside of work?
  • Working out and exercising.
  • What advice would you give a new employee?
  • Work hard to accomplish your goals.
