Employees of Choice - March 2021

OCP’s Employees of Choice are individuals who exemplify the qualities and characteristics that have made our 50 years of success possible. Employees of Choice are employees in the field and office who lead by action to advance safety, productivity, and innovation on projects. Additionally, these employees are consistent, dependable, and contribute to the betterment of the team. Thanks to the hard work of these individuals, OCP has proudly become the interior Contractor of Choice.

Nichole Stelmaszak

  • Position: Painter
  • Length of Employment with OCP: 1 Year
  • Industry Tenure: 14 Years

"Even though Nicky has only been with us a few months she has proven to be an employee of choice here in Toledo. She has been able to push our painting project along on schedule all while giving a top-notch finish product. She is a true master at her craft. Along with painting, Nicky is also a vinyl wall covering installer. Nicky has worked on the Promedica Richards Road Refresh project and currently is working at the new Fremont Ross High School project.   • What brought you to the construction industry and what made you stay?
  • I did not want to be a painter initially but realized there were great opportunities and great benefits.
  • What hobbies do you have outside of work?
  • The Caribbean is my favorite place to be.
  • What advice would you give a new employee?
  • Learn everything that you can from others who are more seasoned in the field.

Kevin Holobaugh

  • What brought you to the construction industry and what made you stay?
  • My brother Keith brought me to construction after I got out of the service. We had lunch and I had a job the next day after meeting his manager at his current position. I was in the army for 6 years. Retirement benefits keep me motivated and working.
  • What is your favorite project you have worked on?
  • All the projects have been fun.
  • What hobbies do you have outside of work?
  • I enjoy fishing and hunting.
