Message to the Team - April 2018

Now in the middle of the second quarter of our 50th year, I wonder where the first three months of 2018 went. As we move forward in our fast-paced industry, there are exciting things happening in our Toledo office! We are starting to see the results of the emphasis placed on efficient Project Management; with thanks to the efforts of Craig Paskiet, Dan Bartolet, Chris Gunderman, and our part time student intern, Haley Theus.

We have successfully secured a great deal more projects in the past months, allowing us to become more selective about the size and types of projects we are able to bid. Our focus being, of course, to ensure profitable and effective project management.

This is no easy task, with Toledo being the smallest market in which we operate. So, while there may be heartache when we have to pass on smaller project, most customers understand OCP is their go to contractor for larger more complex projects.

I am excited to announce that we have received the contract for the Promedica Hickman Hospital Project in Adrian, Michigan! This $2M+ Design Assist 205,000 SF new construction hospital project with The Lathrop/Turner Company will include spray fireproofing, exterior framing, sheathing, air barrier, and EIFS, with the interiors yet to come.

As we ever continue to improve ourselves and our services, taking on larger and more complex projects, we strengthen the foundation for our next 50 years.
