Mount Carmel Columbus Cardiology Consultants East offers a full range of advanced cardiovascular services, from interventional cardiology and electrophysiology to endovascular services and cardiac and vascular testing. The Mount Carmel Health System is comprised of over 10,000 employees, 2,000 physicians and 900 volunteers. The system serves more than a million patients in Central Ohio each year and continues to win national recognition for clinical performance and patient experience.

With patient experience at the forefront of every decision, quality and flexibility made OCP the contractor of choice for the project. Despite having an unexpected two-week late start, OCP overcame scheduling as well as manpower challenges and met all deadlines. The team worked nights and strategically divided construction areas up to ensure they were still functional by employees and patients during construction.

OCP provided the 35,234 SQ FT renovation with metal framing, rough carpentry, building insulation, joint sealants, hollow metal frames, wood doors, finish hardware, gypsum drywall and acoustical ceilings.

Reinventing the patient experience, the check-in area and waiting room was completely renovated to provide a sense of tranquility prior to services. The multiple phase renovation included the 1st, 2nd and half of the third floor. OCP added locker rooms, offices and exam rooms with the very latest in healthcare technology. A cardiac nuclear medicine imaging machine was added along with an x-ray area.

Mount Carmel Columbus Cardiology Consultants East will be completed in August of 2019 and continue the mission of the organization to heal patients' minds, bodies and spirits, and improve the health of the communities they serve.
