Washington Hall houses a number of students from Ohio University's Honor’s Tutorial College (HTC) and other university scholarship programs. Dedicated to educating and empowering students, to foster inclusive communities and make Ohio strong, Ohio University is currently investing $17.6 million in upgrades, renovations, and demolitions across the Athen's campus.

OCP has built a strong relationship with Ohio University over the years by delivering outstanding quality on projects such as the Ohio University South High Rise and was the perfect fit for providing upgrades for their multi-user and single-user restrooms on each floor. The renovations will allow the facilities to serve more students at one time, increasing the number of sinks, private shower rooms, and private toilet rooms in each area.

Familiar with the challenges of older facilities, OCP delivered expansion joint covers, doors, frames, hardware, non-structural metal framing, drywall, toilet partitions and accessories. Dated clay tile, as well as terrazzo and porcelain flooring, was removed.

Additionally, OCP upgraded the ceilings on each floor for a more modern aesthetic with barrel ceilings rather than a flat exposed ceiling with exposed wires and piping.

2019 Fall semester students will enjoy the completed 17,860 SF renovation.
