Celebrating Women In Construction

Of the over 10 million workers that make up the United States’ construction industry, only 9.1% of the workforce consists of women. Whether working in trades, administration, general contracting, subcontracting, or other professional services, these women are vital to the construction process.

The mission of Women in Construction (WIC) Week is to further the success of women within the industry and emphasize the growing role of women within the industry. WIC Week highlights women as an integral component of the construction industry, and encourages others to recognize construction as a viable, profitable career field.

During the course of Women In Construction Week, OCP recognizes the efforts of women in the construction industry and thanks them for their roles in successful construction projects. As the Contractor of Choice, OCP applauds the effort of the many women who have made our success possible.

In celebration of WIC Week, we have interviewed some of the women of OCP to give perspective to their work, and encourage others to advance their careers. Visit the links below to learn more about the OCP Women in Construction.
