2019 In Review

In 2019 OCP reached its highest revenue ever in its 52-year history. With a backlog of projects and a healthy economy, OCP continues to be an industry leader in GPS layout, integrated project delivery, framing, installation of load-bearing mid-rise structures, prefabrication, Building Information Modeling tools and a variety of other skilled services.

This year, OCP focused on exceeding customer satisfaction through the entire team’s focus on safety, training and Lean Construction.

2019 Project Highlights

A $4-billion dollar construction boom in Columbus paired with accelerated development throughout Northeast Ohio led to a busy year. OCP Contractors' award-winning team of office and field employees completed a variety of high profile projects throughout Ohio. 52 carpenters were sent to the UBC International Training Center in Las Vegas to receive advanced training.

3,045 Inspections conducted

OCP conducted 3,045 safety inspections in 2019 with an overall in compliance rating of 95%.

8 OSHA Inspections passed

All inspections carried out by OSHA in 2019 on OCP jobsites have all been in compliance.

Women in Construction

The mission of Women in Construction (WIC) Week is to further the success of women within the industry and emphasize the growing role of women within the industry. WIC Week highlights women as an integral component of the construction industry, and encourages others to recognize construction as a viable, profitable career field.

Giving Back to Our Communities

OCP employees are changing lives every single day. Whether in an office or hands-on within the field, collectively they shape the communities in which they work. To stretch that impact even further, team members regularly volunteer for various local organizations advancing education, health care, and overall community programming.

Packing Thanksgiving Meals

OCP Columbus hosted an office charity event in association with After School All Stars to provide and assemble Thanksgiving meal packages for low income, local families.

American Heart Association Heart Walk

OCP Toledo joined a million Heart Walk Heroes from across the nation raising funds for lifesaving science. Science that can teach us all how to live longer and be healthier.

2019 Habitat for Humanity's Playhouse Blitz Build OCP Toledo

Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Blitz Build

OCP Toledo volunteers worked for 5-6 hours to build a playhouse customized for a family based on their hobbies and interests. Young children and their families are then presented with the playhouse at the conclusion of the Blitz Build.

Supporting After-School All-Stars

The OCP Columbus team supported a casino night for After-School All-Stars (ASAS). ASAS is dedicated to creating a world where all kids have the support they need to fully develop both socially and emotionally, becoming the most confident and adaptable adults they can be.

Summa Health Sapphire Ball

This year's event that OCP Cleveland supported raised nearly $1 million alone for patient support services which help make the difficult journey from cancer diagnosis through treatment and survivorship as easy and seamless as possible.

OCP Columbus supported National Women in Construction (NAWIC) Columbus dinner benefitting Faith Mission Shelter and Services.

Cleveland Food Bank

23 team members and one spouse from OCP Cleveland went through all of the produce that was recently donated at the Cleveland Food Bank. Team members repackaged 6,752 pounds of food in 1 ½ hours.

Providing Holiday Gifts

OCP Columbus participated in two toy drives in celebration of the holiday season. One, through Turner Construction, provides toys for children at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. The other toy drive supports the Athens County Children Services Santa Tree Project.
