2020 In Review

Despite the unforeseen challenges of 2020, OCP has continued to thrive. OCP continues to be an industry leader in GPS layout, integrated project delivery, metal framing, drywall, installation of load-bearing mid-rise structures, prefabrication, Building Information Modeling tools, and a variety of other industry-leading services.

This year, OCP focused on flexibility and collaboration to address the day-to-day changes brought on by the complexities of the pandemic. OCP's three locations came together more than ever before to support one another in-depth and share labor as needed. Relationships throughout the company and with suppliers have never been more critical. The team flourished in 2020 with mutual understanding and quick implementation of safety practices to protect one another.

With major projects on the horizon, we look forward to 2021 taking what we have learned and continuing to strive towards a vision of innovation, safest practices, and client excellence.

2020 Project Highlights

Construction workers were deemed essential workers in many areas including Northeast Ohio. The project momentum continued from 2019. An increase in automation in public spaces, along with the rising awareness about antibacterial construction materials, is expected to propel the industry post-COVID-19 pandemic. OCP Contractors' award-winning team of office and field employees completed a variety of high profile projects throughout Ohio. The teams' commitment to safety and continuous improvement through Lean Construction practices make OCP a trusted partner in the construction process. Thank you to all of our project partners. It was a pleasure #DefiningtheSkyline with each of you.

Women in Construction

OCP is making positive strides every day to make equal representation in the workforce a reality and WIC Week is the time for everyone to celebrate that. This year, OCP held a panel for each location’s women team members to come together and talk about how we can continue to diversify the industry and improve daily experiences on the job for everyone. It was a great opportunity to collaborate with women working on various job sites in different positions. This opportunity to come together to suggest ideas for positive change shows OCP’s commitment to diversifying the workforce.
